Dentistry that explains itself first.
Every visit at Orin Vale starts with a conversation and ends with a written plan you can take home. No rushed chair time, no surprise treatment.
Four stops, one unhurried hour.
New patients follow the same route, so you always know what comes next and can pause at any point.

Yours to keep
Find the treatment by what you need.
Grouped by purpose rather than jargon, with a plain note on who each option suits and what the appointment involves.
| Treatment | Who it suits | What to expect |
|---|---|---|
| Check-up & cleanKeep healthy | Everyone, usually every six to twelve months depending on gum health. | Exam, scale and polish, and tailored home-care tips in a single visit. |
| Fillings & repairsFix a problem | Cavities, chipped edges or worn older fillings that feel rough or sensitive. | Tooth-coloured materials, numbing on request, most done in one appointment. |
| Crowns & root careSave a tooth | Cracked, heavily filled or infected teeth that are still worth keeping. | Two to three visits, with a temporary crown so you are never left with a gap. |
| Whitening & bondingChange the look | Healthy teeth with staining, small gaps or uneven edges. | A shade check first; custom home trays or chairside bonding in one sitting. |
| Children's dentistryStart early | Little ones from their first teeth through to teenagers. | Short, playful visits, sealants where useful and guidance for parents. |
| Urgent careSame week | Toothache, swelling, a knocked or broken tooth, a lost crown. | Pain relief and stabilising first, then a calm conversation about next steps. |

You set the pace in the chair.
Dental worry is common and never a nuisance here. Tell us what helps and we build it into every appointment.
Early starts and late evenings.
Appointments are spread across the week so a check-up rarely means taking a whole morning off.

Questions before you book.
Anything else can go in the note field of the booking form.
How long is a first appointment?
Allow about an hour. It is longer than a routine check-up because we take time to listen and to show you what we find before suggesting anything.
Do you work with dental insurance?
Yes. Bring your plan details and we will itemise your treatment plan so you can check cover before agreeing to any work.
When should my child first visit?
Around the time the first teeth appear, or by their first birthday. Early visits are short and mostly about getting familiar with the chair.
What counts as an urgent appointment?
Severe or throbbing pain, facial swelling, a knocked-out or broken tooth, or a lost crown. If swelling affects breathing or swallowing, seek emergency medical care straight away.
Is whitening right for me?
Whitening works on natural enamel, not fillings or crowns, and needs healthy gums. We check both at a shade consultation before recommending it.
What if I need to change my appointment?
Let us know at least a day ahead and we will find another time. It also lets us offer your slot to someone waiting in discomfort.
Tell us what you need. We'll find the time.
Send a request and the front desk will reply by email with two or three times that match your preference.
